Superintendent Retirement

Please join Merrill Community Schools in celebrating the remarkable career of Gwen Glazier, who will be retiring after 28+ years of dedicated service. Gwen's journey with Merrill began in 1997, marking the start of a profound commitment to our students and community. As a Merrill graduate herself, her connection to the district runs deep, fueling her passion for its success.

Over the years, Gwen has served Merrill Community Schools in a multitude of crucial roles, each contributing to the positive impact she's had on countless lives. Her time as a Special Education Teacher showcased her compassion and commitment to supporting students with diverse needs. During those years as a teacher she was very involved in committees, leadership opportunities and volunteering around the district. As Elementary Principal, she fostered a nurturing and enriching environment, laying the foundation for academic success. Finally, she took on the role of Superintendent, where her leadership guided the district with vision and integrity. We are immensely grateful for her 28+ years of service and the lasting legacy she leaves behind. We wish Gwen all the best in her well-deserved retirement.
