After a month of working in the S.T.E.M. lab, seventh grade students have projects going in full swing. Students are working hard on a variety of science, technology, engineering and mathematics related designs.
While some students are working on building RC cars as the race track is being built, others are building cardboard mazes and programming robots to navigate those mazes. These assignments help students develop critical thinking skills, logic and reasoning, and mathematics and engineering skills. These hands on activities are creating lifelong learners with a passion.
Merrill continues to seek out innovative courses to engage students and prepare them for a successful future.
